“The text you are about to read is an attempt to articulate and explore the vague, hackneyed idea of ‘content’. While ‘content’ can refer to anything that fills a vessel, from here on out I will speak about content specifically in the Internet vernacular sense used by the media and ‘content marketing’ companies. I will then take it further to justify our very existence as ‘content’ in relation to labour, algorithms, and the Internet, and how content influences ideology and an epistemological sense of self.”
